What size should I get?
We house a large variety of units to serve a diverse customer base. Generally, our facilities carry sizes between 4’x5’ (20 sq. ft.) and 10’x40’ (400 sq. ft.). Here are some sizes you can plan for depending on the items you have:
- One-Bedroom Apartment
- Anything between 4’x5’ (20 sq. ft.) and 10’x10’ (100 sq. ft.) should be able to fit your needs. This range will cover anything from a studio to about four rooms of furniture.
- Two-Bedroom Apartment
- More empty apartments could fit into a 10’x10’ unit (100 sq. ft.). However, a 10’x15’ (150 sq. ft.) unit would be more suitable if you have more furniture to store.
- Three-Bedroom House
- Units between the sizes of 10’x20’ (200 sq. ft.) and 10’x30’ (300 sq. ft.) should fit your needs here. Here, consider the items in your yard when choosing the best unit.
- Four-Bedroom House
- Generally, a four-bedroom house can fit into a 10’x30’ unit (300 sq. ft.). Anything more significant would need a 10’x40’ unit (400 sq. ft.).

Is it possible to change sizes if I have to?

What are heating and cooling?
Heating and cooling is a capability we offer at all of our facilities. This feature limits the extreme variations in temperature throughout the year, allowing Right Fit Storage customers to store their things within a temperature range.
Will I need this feature?
You likely will. Customers in areas with high variations in temperature or humidity will see the benefits. If you plan to store your things during one of those extremes or year-round, it would be wise to choose a facility with heating and cooling.
