As North Carolina heads into phase 3 of reopening next week, our Durham location will continue to follow our COVID-19 plan. Earlier this year, we detailed our No Contact Rental process, which we are practicing today.
This process allows our customers to rent while reducing person-to-person interactions. They can rent a unit either over the phone or online. There is no need to go into the store to rent. We also emphasized our contact-free payment options. You can pay online HERE. For your convenience, there is no fee for online payments. If you would prefer to pay by check, we have a payment slot at our front office for you to do so safely. Your lock and keys are provided to you in a sealed plastic bag, and your free move-in truck is sanitized after every single use. Additionally, the members of our team have been following state and federal guidelines to maintain proper personal and facility hygiene by washing their hands regularly, exercising social distance practices, and increasing the cleaning and disinfecting schedules of the facility.
These processes aim to keep the Durham area safe, and we will continue to practice them. We have been monitoring recommendations from the CDC, and we will update our practices as these guidelines change.
