GREENSBORO, NC – June 5, 2020 – Right Fit Storage is pleased to announce that we are sponsoring the 26th Annual Human 5K Race held by the Volunteer Center of Greensboro to benefit over 75 local nonprofit organizations. This is a virtual 5k timed run and 1-mile fun run/walk that will allow participants to raise money for their favorite nonprofit. This virtual race will be held from June 13 to June 19 in order to reach their goal of $157,500.
“We are always looking for ways to help the Greensboro community and the Volunteer Center’s Human Race will benefit many nonprofit organizations. We are excited to team with a group that has continued to fundraise so successfully for many!” says Meagan Mitsch, Marketing Specialist for Right Fit Storage.
This annual event is going virtual for the very first time, which has allowed their registrants to grow into a national group. The race consists of a 5K timed-run and a 1-mile fun run or walk. Registrants will be given awards based on the fastest times, most scenic run, cutest 4-legged running partner, and the most spirited running costume. All of these awards and more will be announced on June 20, starting at 9:30 AM during their Facebook Live event to celebrate the conclusion of their race. Even after the race has ended, they will still accept funds until June 22 at midnight.
