After the bars and restaurants were required to close to dine-in customers, many workers we laid off. In addition to ordering for take-out, we can support these restaurant workers by donating to their relief fund. The Frankie Lemmon Foundation originally set up a fund to benefit Triangle restaurant workers adversely affected by the pandemic. This effort benefits everyone from wait staff, bartenders, hosts, managers, delivery drivers, cooks, catering staff and dishwashers. With a great source of support, they were able to partner with the North Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Association and open the relief fund to restaurant workers from all over North Carolina. Whether you are a former restaurant worker in need of support or a supporter yourself, visit their website to learn more about this wonderful opportunity!
